Hello Ninja and Trouble! I actually took this photo yesterday before I knew what this weeks theme was, but it actually fits. Other than naked blogging I’d say listening to music is big hobby of mine, my boyfriend plays the guitar and drums, I envy him and I’m gutted that I never learnt myself. We recently bought a vinyl player and we’re beginning to have quite a respectable record collection, so here’s me nude with my AM vinyl.www.sextathlon.tumblr.com

Awesome, Trouble and I are also active vinyl listeners, I’ve been encouraging her to practice vinyl DJing and she did a great job taking over my duties at the turntables during my last event. I feel your envy as well, I’ve always wishe I could make beautiful music. But we can’t have it all. Thanks for another great submission dear.

Hi, Ninja and Trouble.
It is my very first time submitting to you and I wanted to share something special with you, something that means a great deal to me.
In a way, this picture is very intimate to me, for it reflects both something I love and something I fear. I love music and want to devote my life to it, yet somehow I’m too scared to do so, too afraid to truly give myself to it. I wouldn’t know how to describe this fear, but I think it has a lot to do with not feeling good enough. Something similar happens to my perception of my naked body, which I assume it’s one of the reasons I’ve never been able to be with someone. So, even though you can’t tell by first glance, I am posing nude for this picture, but that’s not the only proof that I am naked.

Well dear, it looks like you are well on your way to developing the confidence you need in yourself to both play with and enjoy your music and body. Thanks for sharing your beautiful photo and write up as well, I look forward to seeing more from you in the future.

I’ve been playing flamenco guitar for around 4 or 5 years ago, and its not getting any easier. And to be honest I don’t normally play nude, but I figured it was appropriate this time. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday NN.

Nice to see an instrument come in showing of the music theme of Submission Sunday from a few weeks ago, so far it’s been a pretty great best of. Keep on practicing dude, it looks like you’re quite the talented photographer as well, this is a great shot.

Dear Ninja,
my very first submission to you: ‘Me and my Cello’ from my album ‘Catching the Shadow’. I hope you like it, even though I don’t show much…
Love,
EP

I do like it, the photo is great. Glad you decided to submit, this is a great first submission.

I apologize in advance Ninja for such a low quality photograph, I couldn’t help but jump on the train once the theme was announced. As a young child I grew up listening to a lot of viny, I specifically remember the silent crackles and the sound of Paul McCartneys voice coming from the living room in the mornings right as I woke up.. How the first time I listened to The Rolling Stones I was in the fifth grade and had snuck into the backyard after midnight to find my dad listening to one of their albums when he said “Hey punk, what are you doing up?” I remember I thought he was going to be mad that I just sort of wandered out there in the middle of the night. He told me “C’mere and I’ll play you some songs that’ll change your life.” And they did. Not in obvious ways, but carefully. Quietly and entirely. As if he had known all along how they would each gather into the open door ways of my tiny little being. I inherited his insuppressible curly hair. His crooked nose, his modesty and thankfully, his love for vinyl and good music.

This write up is really sweet, touching and beautiful. You’re so lucky for having great music taught to you by your parents that must have formed such a meaningful bond. Thanks for sharing your beautiful photo with us.

Before I say anything about my image…I want to send a huge stoner hello to the follower who submitted his hobby as bathing & smoking, a past time of mine as well!
Well I rarely submit to any blogs but your theme interested me Ninja, I am a fellow nsfw blogger and I never get to show off my real interest. This image could have been better but there is no other way to show my naive love for hip-hop. If you can read the poster its from the 2003 release of Atmospheres Seven’s Travels…..I absolutely love going to shows, I’d say before anything thats my hobby & love..live music<3 Going to shows evolved into me meeting some of the coolest folks ever, into working side by side with them, into throwing my own shows, traveling doing PR for shows and even my own website that has its own niche of followers (: …so me simple and whole with my favorite records on a sunny so cal sunday is my kind of hobby.

Ok people often ask me why I don’t post there submission, and sometimes it’s just because they sent in the photo about a dozen times and I get really annoyed when my inbox gets cluttered and it shows a kind of over zealousness about the whole submission thing. The moral of the story is, this photo was submitted ten or so times and I almost deleted every one of them and was not going to post the picture but she did a great job with her portrait and it deserves to be seen. I just hope for patience next time and please for the future anyone reading this just submit your photo once, and if you think it does not work e-mail it to me.

I’ve been thinking for a while on which of my hobbies to include in this submission when I realized that my messy room is pretty much just an amalgamation of most of them. So I decided to take this photo to show my love of music via my Korg synth and my acoustic guitar (which has been getting some much needed love recently). My love of fitness and cycling via that lovely little road bike behind me. My love of crafting and building via my computer, that I hand built, and the pile of freshly used tools in the bottom right. My love for collecting aged & vintage antiques in the rusted sign on my wall. My love for amateur photography via the fisheye lens I used to capture all this clutter, and of course my love of nudity (especially when my roommate isn’t home).

Good gosh these write ups are turning into mini essays. Thanks for the submission dude, really like the fish eye it works with this photo so well. Glad you got to enjoy your home alone time and take advantage of it.

I love that the theme this week is hobbies. All I seem to do is listen to music, and here are some of my favorites on disc. Although you can’t see it, I have a Beatles Sgt. Pepper’s poster in the background, and also Red Hot Chili Peppers pillowcases. I just love music.

Very nice submission, I like the pink headphones and perfect breasts.

I was very excited to share this photo this week, I love the lighting.

I was excited to share this photo as well, so Submission Sunday starts off with this beautiful portrait. Really like her long hair falling over her breast, and how she’s sitting cross legged on her hone calf and heel. Thanks for sharing dear.

I missed the music theme last week because I had other intentions for my submission, but this photo encouraged me to make an attempt. This album by Grails is one of my favourite records of recent years, and it has a rather sexy cover to go with the sensual music (which I rediscovered recently after smoking some weed, naturally).

Sweet, I’d like to get a record submission every week so thanks dude it’s always interesting learning about what music people care the most about and want to share.

I took this probably 5 minutes after you said submission sunday was closed last week. I’m a little all over the place when it comes to my records.

SS kicks off this week with a photo that came in a bit too late for last week. This lovely lady shows off more of her record collection than her self, but a peak into someones musical interests can tell you more about them than nudity can. I’ve got four of the records pictured here, I bet you can guess which ones.

Green Day was my favorite band in middle school (and I guess they still technically are my favorite since I don’t usually listen to anything but show tunes and classical music at this point). But I loved them because of their real “fuck you” attitude towards authority figures and that was something that I really needed as I was stuck in a school where bullying simply seemed to be a part of the institution. With a total of 38 children in seventh and eight grade, it’s quite obvious who’s at the bottom of the pile, and my social skills were less than satisfactory to begin with.
But that’s why my parents bought me all three of their new albums this Christmas. Here’s the rub: I haven’t heard a single song. Maybe I’m afraid it won’t be as good as I remember? Maybe it’s just simply not my cup of tea anymore? Whatever my reason, I’m just glad that I no longer have a need for them to help get me through the day/week/month/year. They’ll also be a special band and a special type of music for me, but I’m incredibly happy right now and that attitude suits me much better than any sort of “fuck you” stance ever will.

We all grow up but some bands always retain a close part in our hearts even if we grow out of their music. I did the same thing with Thursday, they were my favorite in High School and for the first few years of University. But eventually I stopped listening to their new album. Anyway, I am wearing a Thursday shirt now and though I don’t listen to them much anymore and have not even heard their past two new albums they still remain one of my favorite bands. So I can totally relate to you.

I’m a nervous first time submitter who has wanted to submit for weeks now! I thought this theme was a really fun one, so I promised myself I’d do it this week. Even if you don’t publish this one, I know I’ll love seeing all the other submissions.

Welcome to the club dear and thanks for your sexy submission, glad you took part in this weeks theme. This is also exactly the kind of submissions I had in mind and was hoping for. And it makes sense that the Beatles make at least two appearances this week.

Hello Ninja. This is my first submission. I’ve never been confident with my body (hence remaining anonymous), but seeing your theme made me want to get my records out again. I thought The Strokes was an appropriate choice to preserve my modesty!

The Strokes is quite clever for a photo like this. Thanks for the submission dude.

Well, here I am with my instrument. Very few people know that I actually go to school for music… But I guess now you all do. I had to sneak into my favorite practice room after hours to take this picture for you…. Ninja status?

Very sneaky and sexy, a love a good old fashion flash every once in a while. Thanks for sharing a bit more about yourself with us.
